Bob

We don't have any 2 legged kids, so he doesn't get a Father's Day card. His birthday is 3 days after Father's Day...but I felt that this man deserves to have a blog dedicated to him. In a week's time he will be turning 54 years old and he is pretty freaking amazing! He can tell you where each and every wire goes to and what it's for, because, plain and simply, he built this. Bob's an electrician by trade and he does heavy commercial and industrial. He builds mills and chemical plants.

He used to like to pig out all the time, that was before March 9th when we found out he had cancer on his vocal chord. He has had 29 radiation treatments...he rode a shuttle van to Portland everyday and even though he was on heavy-duty medication, he still helped to round up the passengers for the DAV van driver, just to make the driver's life a little easier.

He's the best Dad that 2 dogs and 2 cats could ever have...he'll go out and get all dirty playing with these guys!!

He can build some amazing kitchen cabinets...the shelves all pull out and this cabinet went to go over the refridgerator and stove and has a built in microwave shelf, crown molding...beautiful! All made by Bob's 2 hands!

Bob loves to get the dogs out in the woods for a nice, long run...he loves those dogs more than life itself!

He will sit outside in the freezing cold to smoke a prime rib roast for dinner...

And he will get drunk with me when I feel the need to get drunk...

Always has a scratch or pat for the dogs...those dogs think the sun rises and sets in Bob!

Clowning around on my 40th birthday....he's doing his impersonation of me!!

Bob is the fifth guy from the left...I can pick him out instantly, but then, I'm married to him!

More of what he does for a living...don't ask me cuz I just don't have a clue!

He's not afraid to get out and meet new people and if anyone needs help with anything, he's the first to volunteer...

This guy can set up a campsite, let me tell ya! We went camping over Memorial Day one year in the pouring rain...he set up camp, tarped the whole thing over, made gutters in the tarp for the rain water to drain into a bucket so I could use it for my wash water...we were completely dry and we had THE best time that weekend!

This was to honor my husband, Bob, who is an amazing man and I love him very much! And, yes, he is getting his voice back...he just sounds super froggy right at the moment!
~~~~~~~Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~
